We’re Back: Why Pink Petal BTS Just Moved to Southern California
It’s been a while since I posted here. Almost TWO YEARS, actually. Life got busy in the best way (hi, if you’re new here: I had a baby, and my business has grown more than I could ever imagine). But I wanted to break the silence with something big: we just moved back to Southern California.
I grew up here. Twenty-one years of my life happened in SoCal before I followed a boy I loved to Arizona and built a life there. So this move isn’t really a move. I guess it’s a homecoming! Coming back with a husband, a daughter, a dog, and a business that I didn’t have the last time I called this state home. The final push came when my husband got an offer he couldn't turn down. And if we were going to build a life around his new job, I wanted it to be somewhere close to my family and my closest friends, not another state away from them.
Pink Petal BTS started in late 2023, and in less than three years, it’s grown into something I’m SO proud of. iPhone content that’s been featured in People and Hello Magazine, and reels that have reached millions of views. Tens of millions. Growing it in Arizona taught me everything. But there’s a version of this business that only makes sense in California, close enough to build the same kind of relationships with venues and vendors here that I built in Arizona…not from a distance, but as a neighbor.
The move itself was it’s own adventure…the kind you laugh about later. If any of you have ever moved states with small children, you’ll understand what I mean. But I’m so happy to be here. It feels so right.
What I’m most excited for:
Building real, strong relationships with California wedding vendors
Being close enough to home to actually be present for the community here
Watching my daughter grow up around family in the place my husband and I grew up
If you’re a couple getting married, in Southern California, or a planner/venue looking for a content creator to come capture pretty things for you, I’d love to connect. Here’s to the next chapter!
More soon,
Ezhana
